1. Data Storage and Processing
The App does not collect or store your personal information on our own servers. Records, photos, reminder settings and other data generated during your use are stored only on your device and, if you enable it, in Apple iCloud provided by Apple, and are subject to Apple’s service terms. The App does not read, upload or export these data in the background for advertising or profiling.
2. Use of Local Data
We use your data only as necessary to provide core features such as recording, statistics and reminders. Processing takes place on your device or within your iCloud environment and is limited to in-App display, basic statistics and triggering local notifications. We do not use your personal data for targeted advertising or for purposes unrelated to oral health.
3. Service Improvement and External Data
Improvements to TeethStory’s prediction features and product design rely on publicly available information, industry research and non-targeted feedback we receive from external communities, rather than on in-App data linked to identifiable individuals. We do not share your personal records as individual samples or use them to train general-purpose models.
4. Data Security
We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, use or disclosure of information. However, due to technical limitations and other factors, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please keep your device and account information safe and avoid allowing untrusted persons to use your device.
5. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published in the App or on this page and will indicate the "Last updated" date. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, updates take effect upon publication. Your continued use of the App after publication means you accept the updated Policy.
